Staff Writer
Volunteer | 5-10 hours/week | Remote
We’re looking for thoughtful, curious writers who are excited to explore stories at the intersection of culture, identity, and everyday life for AAPINH women. This role is ideal for writers who want to build their portfolio, interview inspiring community leaders and creatives, and contribute meaningful stories that empower AAPINH women.
Writers will collaborate with our editorial team to develop compelling pieces ranging from artist profiles and cultural storytelling to lifestyle features and community spotlights.
What You’ll Do
Pitch story ideas that resonate with the Lotus audience
Conduct interviews with AAPINH artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders
Write thoughtful features, profiles, and stories
Incorporate meaningful takeaways for readers
Work with editors to refine drafts and develop strong storytelling
