Team Member Feature: Jacqueline Le
Hi, I’m Jacqui and I’m a content writer and editor for Lotus Magazine. I currently work as a financial analyst at UC San Diego. What that really means is I just work a lot with numbers and interpret policies that are related to finances.

My time on the Lotus Magazine team
I learned that I’m more creative than I think I am. Creativity comes in different ways! I’ve also enjoyed working with who I wouldn’t otherwise have met. Being an adult, it’s hard to make friends so Lotus Magazine gave me a chance to make connections.
In terms of content, designing the pages is more of a challenge for me than writing. To overcome this challenge, I look at past issues and Pinterest for inspiration. I do my best to design the page that reflects me and my aesthetics.

Some hobbies and interests
Reading: My perfect date is strolling through a bookstore.
Figure skating: I started learning and taking classes in 2022.
Collecting washi tape: But I don’t use it!
My dog: I am obsessed and love hanging out with my dog, Ollie.
Bridgerton: I loved reading the books and watching the series on Netflix! I daydream about being the diamond of the season and dancing in the ballroom.
